Prof. Michał Rychlik, D.Sc., Ph.D., BEng. is an academic staff member at Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Since 2023, he has been the Leader of the Biomedical Engineering Excellence Cluster, coordinating the work of approximately 30 researchers from seven faculties (11 institutes) and fostering collaboration with clinical centers in the development of technologies supporting diagnostic and measurement systems.
Since 2024, he has served as the Director of the Institute of Applied Mechanics, which comprises nearly 50 employees working in the fields of virtual engineering, technical mechanics, vibroacoustics and diagnostic systems, and strength of materials.
In 2020, he obtained his habilitation in the field of Biomedical Engineering. His research interests focus on biomedical and virtual engineering, particularly CAx technologies (CAD/CAM/CAE). He specializes in computer modeling and simulation, 3D geometry reconstruction based on medical data, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, and motion capture systems.
He is a co-author of patents and innovative diagnostic methods, including solutions enabling objective analysis and visualization of pain regions in patients with myofascial pain syndrome, as well as methods for assessing morphological features of the hip joint acetabulum. He gained two years of professional experience at the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden, Germany.
Prof. Rychlik is the author of over 130 scientific publications and has participated in more than 17 national and international research projects, including EU-funded initiatives. He is actively involved in teaching and supervises undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral theses in biomedical and mechanical engineering.

Filip Górski

Prof. Filip Górski, DSc., PhD., BEng., serves as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Poznań University of Technology, Poland. He leads the Division of Additive Manufacturing and Virtual Reality and acts as Vice- Dean for Science within the Faculty. His expertise lies in 3D scanning and printing technologies for medical and biomedical engineering, as well as virtual and augmented reality for both industrial and medical applications. He is also proficient in automating design processes in CAD systems and employing reverse engineering techniques.
In 2013, he defended his doctoral thesis in the field of numerical simulation and experimental research of products manufactured additively on 3D printers, in 2020 he obtained his habilitation degree in the use of virtual reality techniques in mechanical engineering. Prof. F. Górski has been involved in numerous research projects, often in a managerial role, collaborating with industrial companies and national research centers.
His international collaborations extend to scientists from countries like Great Britain, Mexico, Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia, India, and Spain. He has received multiple prestigious grants and awards, notably for his development of the AutoMedPrint technology, which focuses on the automated design of affordable 3D printed prosthetics and orthotics for patients of all ages. He has authored or co- authored nearly 150 publications, including five books, and has developed several software solutions that are now implemented in industries, hospitals, and patient care facilities.
He promoted over 80 engineering and master's theses related to the subject of 3D printing, virtual reality and 3D scanning, several of which have been awarded in national and local competitions.
Jakub Grabski

Jakub Grabski, Ph.D., Eng. is an academic staff member at Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Applied Mechanics. He currently serves as the Vice-Dean for Full-Time Studies and is actively involved in the development of biomedical engineering education and research.
His scientific interests focus on biomechanics, biometrics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and advanced computational methods. He specializes in meshless numerical methods (including the Trefftz method, Method of Fundamental Solutions, and Kansa method), as well as artificial intelligence techniques such as artificial neural networks and evolutionary algorithms. His research also covers inverse problems and selected issues in the strength of engineering materials and structures.
Dr Grabski conducts interdisciplinary research at the interface of mechanical and biomedical engineering, including modeling of fluid flow phenomena (e.g., non- Newtonian and porous media flows), bioheat transfer, and applications of computational methods in medicine and sports biomechanics. He has also contributed to research on human motion analysis, injury prediction, and biometric systems.
He has participated in numerous national and international research projects, including collaborations with industry and medical partners, focusing on the development of advanced biomedical devices such as bionic prostheses. His work also includes numerical modeling of modern biomaterials and engineering structures.
Dr Grabski is a recipient of prestigious scholarships, including the Foundation for Polish Science START program and the Polish Minister of Science award for outstanding young scientists. He is an active member of several scientific societies, including the Polish Society for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
He is also actively involved in teaching and supervises undergraduate and graduate theses in biomedical and mechanical engineering.
Marek Zabłocki

In 1997, he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Poznań University of Technology with a Master of Engineering degree. He obtained his PhD in technical sciences in 2002 and his habilitation in 2014.
Since 2019, he has held the position of university professor. His research specializations include the methodology of designing assistive devices for people with disabilities and seniors, the design of assistive devices for seniors and people with disabilities, the fundamentals of machine design, biomechanics, and ergonomics.
He is the author and co-author of over 90 publications. He serves as the head of the Department of Universal Design and Mobility Devices.
Mikołaj Morzy

Mikołaj Morzy, Ph.D., Eng., Professor at Poznań University of Technology is a faculty member at Poznań University of Technology, affiliated with the Institute of Computing Science and the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications, where he has served as Dean since 2024. He has many years of experience in conducting scientific research and managing research and development projects in the field of modern information technologies.
His research interests focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, natural language processing, and the analysis of social networks and complex data systems. In particular, he works on developing methods for analyzing large datasets and intelligent systems that support decision-making.
He conducts interdisciplinary research combining computer science with applications in the digital economy, recommendation systems, user behavior analysis, and human–computer interaction systems. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in renowned journals and at international conferences in the fields of databases, data analysis, and information systems.
He has participated in many national and international research projects as well as projects carried out in collaboration with industry, concerning, among other things, intelligent data processing systems and AI-based solutions. He possesses international experience, gained, among other things, while working and collaborating with research centers in Germany and the United States.
Dr. Mikołaj Morzy, Ph.D., Eng., is an active member of the scientific community, committed to advancing research on artificial intelligence and its practical applications. He is involved in teaching and instructs undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of computer science and intelligent systems.
